Swatches - Chanel Collection Etats Poetiques

Good Tuesday polish peeps. 

I'm trying to be organised this week as I'm working pretty much every hour of every day. Working in retail = craziest week of the year! Or so 'they' tell me anyway ;)

Today's post contains swatches of the Chanel Autumn collection, Etats Poetiques. There were three colours released with this collection, so I'll get right into the swatches!

First up is Secret, 'a soft milky pink', this is a lovely nude creme. A little bit too cool for my skin tone, but still lovely. The formula is ok, but probably need three coats, I'm wearing two in the swatches - 

Second is Atmosphere. 'A pearly nail colour with multiple shimmers', this is a typical transformative top coat which changes any colour into a something a bit special. One coat - 

Finally, Orage. An 'Anthracite grey mixed with blue', this smoky blue creme brings a dark edge to this collection. Again, probably need three coats as I am wearing two here and it's just not quite there - 

I also layered Atmosphere over both Secret and Orage. I can honestly say I can't decide which combination I prefer! They both look so pretty, and I love how the colour changes depending on the base polish.

The Body Shop Colour Crush Nail Colours - Darks

Hello everyone :)

Today I have swatches of the rest of my Body Shop Colour Crush Nail Colours to share. If you saw my last Body Shop post, you saw that I have split my birthday haul in to two parts, light colours and dark. Today, it's the turn of the dark shades.

All swatches are two coats of colour with a top coat.

First up is The Body Shop Green, and this one pretty much explains itself! The formula on this one is quite crelly like - 

Next is Big Smoke, a dark grey creme - 

And finally, Chocolate Cutie. A warm, reddish brown. This one again has a crelly formula, similar to The Body Shop Green - 

I have to say that I didn't enjoy using these as much as the light shades. 
However, I think that that is because I just prefer brighter colours :)
The quality is still good though, and I would definitely recommend these polishes!

Chanel - Phenix

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you're all having a great weekend so far. 

Today I have swatch of Chanel Phenix to share with you. This polish was release as part of the Christmas collection, Collection Plumes Precieuses de Chanel. You can check the official Press Release HERE. 

The entire collection is Limited Edition so get it while you can!

In the swatch I am wearing two coats of colour with my SV top coat - 

I think this colour is absolutely perfect for the Christmas period! Inspired by the mythical Phoenix fire bird, this is a fiery true red creme polish. The formula is also lovely as it always is with Chanel.

Chanel Le Vernis in #687 Phenix is £18 and I purchased mine from Debenhams.
