Swatches - Printemps Precieux De Chanel (Spring '13)

Good afternoon!

I hope everyone is well, I've had a cold :-( over the weekend obviously!

Back to business, today I have swatches of the Spring Collection Le Vernis from Chanel- Printemps Precieux De Chanel.

(Check out the Press Release HERE)

First up is Emprise (three coats)-

"EMPRISE, a natural rosy beige takes on a slight opaque touch for an instantly modern look."

Next, Fracas (two coats)-

"FRACAS, a vibrant pink radiantly showcases bold femininity."

And finally, Accessoire (two coats)-

"ACCESSOIRE, a deep red-brown shade opts for luxury and sensuality."

I can't decide which one I love the most. There has been a lot of interest in Accessoire, and rightly so! I am a sucker for a pink though, so I think I'm going to have to rebel and say that Fracas is my favourite!

Chanel Le Vernis retail at £18.

Review - INGLOT

First of all, this is my 200th blog! WHAT?!

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that has ever read my blog, follows me on twitter, subscribes... I wouldn't keep doing this if it wasn't for you lot!! So thank you loads xxx

Those of you who follow me on the Twitter, you may remember that a few months ago, I went to N.Ireland for my cousins wedding.
Whilst I was there, I did the obligatory shop round a new city, and I was so excited to find an actual Inglot shop in Belfast!

All I know of Inglot, is what I've learned from YouTube beauty guru's who use their Freedom System eye shadows. Which look amazing by the way! So when I came across the store I just had to check out the nail colours and I was not disappointed..

The Range of Colours is so varied and has a great depth, it was so hard to choose which ones I wanted!

I managed to pick two shades in the end -

The first is number 315, a pale iridescent blue top coat -

Here, I have layered 315 over two coats of Chanel Blue Boy.

The second Inglot polish I bought was number 203, a flakie!

Here, I have layered 203 over two coats of Illamasqua Smash.

I'm really happy with my Inglot choices. I'm getting more and more into polishes that transform existing colours to produce something new and these two really do that!

As for the brand, I am super impressed with my products. The quality is lovely, and I will definitely be purchasing more Inglot!! The staff were also really friendly and helpful in the store too, which always makes me more inclined to make a purchase.

Nail Enamels cost £8.00 each. Check out the full range at Inglotcosmetics.com

Printemps Precieux De Chanel - PR Chanel Spring 2013

Today, I am super excited to share a press release from Chanel for their Spring 2013 make-up collection- 'Printemps Precieux De Chanel'. (Precious Spring)

*****************************************************************

UNDERSTATED AND PLAYFUL:
THE QUINTESSENCE OF STYLE

Based on the notion that elegance and beauty should be simple and enjoyable, Gabrielle Chanel created a style: a clear ideal of femininity that resolves all paradoxes. The silhouette is simplified to only the essentials, with refined details and a joyful sparkle of colour. It was the discovery of an old photograph, with an unusual yet sublime brooch set with amethysts and placed on rough fabric, that inspired a contrasting springtime collection.

Peter Philips, Creative Director of CHANEL Make Up, interprets the unique combination of precision and playfulness, enhancing the elegance of natural shades with a few precious touches.
Ingenuous eyes and a soft complexion turn the attention to nails and lips, which celebrate spring in an explosion of colour.
Refined beige and brown shades are lightly swept over eyelids for a natural effect or applied more intensely to accentuate the seductive power of the eyes.

The Exclusive Creation of the Collection is a silky powder that highlights a face eagerly awaiting the first sunny days.
This season’s lipsticks are tender or bold, classic or magnetic, but always sophisticated. True manifestos of style and femininity, coral and shocking pink electrify a woman’s allure.
Like jewels, nails are similarly playful thanks to original and luxurious shades. The fresh, exuberating and exhilarating palette of lilac gives rise to an elegant yet surprising mauve note that is strewn throughout the Collection.

LE VERNIS creates a stir with a trio of original and precious nail polishes. Colour is worn like an accessory on nails. Each shade unveils a new look, to accentuate the natural face makeup.

EMPRISE, a natural rosy beige takes on a slight opaque touch for an instantly modern look.

ACCESSOIRE, a deep red-brown shade opts for luxury and sensuality.

FRACAS, a vibrant pink radiantly showcases bold femininity.

Le Vernis (Nail Colour) £18.00 each.
