Stargazer - Part 1

*Press Samples*

I've always had a soft spot for Stargazer. When I went through the 'goth' phase, as I'm sure all angsty young people do (!) the first black eye shadow (and lipstick!) I bought were from Stargazer. Their products are amazing quality for the low price and the range is huge!

A little while ago, Stargazer put a tweet out asking bloggers if they would like any products to review. Quite naturally, i said yes please and they emailed me asking for my posting address :-)

Shortly after I received six pots of their Nail Decor's and three nail polishes! Thank you Stargazer! Today I have had a play with nail polish number 166 and their Gold and Multi-Colour Nail Decor.

So much fun playing with these!

Stay tuned for part two, and part three too ;-)

Check out Stargazer-products.com for their full range.

e.l.f - Dark Navy

e.l.f cosmetics always has some awesome offers on. Recently they had a free delivery on orders over £10, so I naturally obliged! I got four great products for my £10 and one of them was a nail polish in Dark Navy which is what I've swatched for you today :-)

I am wearing two coats of Dark Navy with a base and top coat -

I am really impressed with this colour! It applied beautifully and the finish is so gorgeous. It has that lovely shimmery finish that gives the polish so much depth. It's not the most 'navy' polish I've ever seen and it does have a purple-ish tone to it too, but beautiful none the less :-)

e.l.f nail polishes are £2.50 each available at Eyeslipsface.co.uk.

Mavala Oasis Collection - Summer '14

*Press Samples*

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you're all having the best day :-)

Today I'm super excited to share swatches of four of the six new nail colours from Mavala for their Summer collection - Oasis.

First is Orchid Mauve. I would say that this shade is more of a dusty pink shade than a lilac, but it's still gorgeous none the less! Two coats -

Next is Sky Blue and my favourite of the group :-) This is just what the name says, a sky blue! It has the tinniest shimmer running through it, you can almost see it in the close up shot. I used flash to try and bring it out! Two coats -

Third is Sunset Orange which is a gorgeous orange toned coral. Nothing more to say really! Two coats -

Finally I have Treasure. A warm golden shade with the most beautiful shimmering finish. You can really see how it sparkles in the close up shot. Two coats -

The Mavala Oasis collection is exclusive to John Lewis, priced at £4.75 each.

Beautybay Collection - Times Square

Today I have a super quick swatch post to share of Times Square from the Beautybay Collection.

This is a really fun glitter consisting of small round, and bar holographic glitters suspended in a clear base. Great fun :-)

I am wearing one coat of the glitter over Barry M Black -

This polish is so much fun to wear, changing colour in different lighting. When I put it on I thought it would be a perfect New Years Eve polish!

Sadly, this is the only glitter polish they offer at the moment, so I'd like to formally request more please Beautybay! If this one is anything to go by, any future one's will be awesome :-)

Beautybay nail colours are £5 each at Beautybay.com (obviously!)

Speckled Egg Diagonal Nails

Hello everyone and happy Monday!

Today, I've broken back out the Models Own Speckled Egg polishes. I really enjoy using these and I forgot just how lovely they look on the nail.

I used three of the colours today, Magpie (the aqua), Dove (the pink) and Goose (the yellow).

I am wearing three coats of the Speckled Egg polishes in the pictures with a base and a top coat.

I think I'm doing a bit better with the nail art pen. I love using the Barry M one, it's so easy to use and is super black!

Check out Modelsownit.com for the Speckled Egg polishes, they're £5 each, and Barrym.com for the Nail Art Pens which are £4.99.

Paul & Joe - Summer 2014 - Ice Cream Parlour

Good afternoon polish peeps. I hope you've all had a great week. For those football widows, like myself, I hope you can find some comfort in reading your favourite blog ;-)

Today I have swatches of two of the new Paul & Joe nail polishes for Summer 2014.

Paul & Joe launched 25 colours for Summer in their Ice Cream Parlour collection, and they've changed up the packaging too.

First up is #08 Pink Flamingo -

I really love this colour! Those of you who read WellNailed regularly will know that I love a good coral, and also how much I hate photographing them! Pink Flamingo is a soft pink toned coral which is perfect on my paler skin.

Sometimes I think you need a decent tan to pull of corals, but this is a bit softer, slightly pastel-y, and looks great on pale skin :-)
Three coats.

And second is #22 Siamese -

Siamese is a lovely taupe with slightly purple undertones. This is a lovely classic and elegant shade, but also something a little bit different.

You don't tend to see a lot of colours like this, especially for summer, but I think it's beautiful!
Two coats.

I have to say that I'm not a huge fan of the new bottle shape to photograph as the old shape was so much easier to hold and makes your hand look a lot nicer in the picture! Though obviously this doesn't take from how awesome these colours are :-)

They also still smell amazing!

Paul & Joe nail colours are £12 each available at Beautybay.com.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Chanel Summer '14 - The Other Four

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today, I am so excited to share swatches of the remaining four polishes by Chanel from their Summer collection Reflets D'Ete.

I swatched Tutti Frutti last week as Chanel were awesome to send me it, and now I have the rest of the colours to share as I rushed out and bought them on Friday when they came out :-) (I think the lady on the counter thought I was a little bit mental!)

First up is Eastern Light, a straight up white creme. Three coats.

Second is Sweet Lilac. Obviously, a lilac! Two coats.

Like Tutti Frutti, Sweet Lilac has a super subtle shimmer which gives that amazing glossy finish. So subtle you can barely see it!

Next there's Pink Tonic, a super hot fuchsia. Two coats.

Again, Pink Tonic has a shimmer and again, it's super subtle.

Finally is Mirabella which is a vibrant orange creme. Two coats.

I can't even decide which I love the most. Eastern Light because I just LOVE a white polish, though it mad me a little bid sad it took three coats. Also Mirabella as it just made me happy when I looked at this one on my nails! I love Pink Tonic because it's just right up my street, and Sweet Lilac came at the perfect time because I have a job interview today and it looks really classy and delicate :-)

Chanel nail polishes are £18 each and I purchased mine from Debenhams.com
